DIRECTORATE GENERAL BORDER SECURITY FORCE : RECRUITMENT OF SUB-INSPECTORS (SI) MARCH 2011.***

Applications are invited from male Indian citizens for appointment to Group 'B' post of Sub Inspector /Junior Engineer (Civil and Electrical) in the Border Security Force , Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India in the pay scale of Rs. 9,300-34,800/- ,Grade pay 4,200/- with usual admissible allowances. The post is temporary but likely to become permanent.

1.Sub Inspector /Junior Engineer (Civil) : 18 posts (UR-5, OBC-7, SC-3,ST-3).

Pay Band : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- Grade pay Rs. 4200/-.

Age : 18 to 25 years

2.Sub Inspector /Junior Engineer (Electrical) : 13 posts (UR-2, OBC-6, SC-3,ST-2)

Pay Band : PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800/- Grade pay Rs. 4200/-.

Age : 18 to 25 years

APPLICATION FEE : Application should be accompanied by a Crossed Bank Draft / Indian Postal Order for Rs. 50/- only for Gen/OBC candidates as the examination fee in favour of  The Inspector General or DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/ post office.

HOW TO APPLY : Applications duly filled up on the prescribed format be sent to The Commanant (Rectt.), HQ DG BSF, Block No. 10 CGO Complex, Lodhi road, New Delhi -110003, within 30 days i. e. upto 12-04-2011 (12th April 2011). (15 days more for the candidates from far-flung areas).
